Quantitative Reverse Transcription-PCR

The UMGC will perform small-scale expression studies using Q-RT-PCR. We can help custom design and execute studies using the Roche UPL set. The UPL has dual labeled hydrolysis probes that function similarly to Taqman assays on the ABI 7900HT real time PCR instrument.
 

An ABI 7900HT is available to researchers for customized projects. The 7900HT has a wavelength detection of 500-660 nm, allowing for multiple chemistry detection, including TAQMAN® and SYBR® Green. Applications include real-time PCR, SNP detection and +/- assays. The 7900HT is equipped with robotic capabilities for multiple plate scanning.
