Microarray Facility

What's Inside Microarray Facility

The Microarray Facility provides target preparation from total RNA, hybridization, scanning and basic data analysis services to University of Minnesota researchers for Affymetrix Genechip® catalog microarrays.  We also offer custom cDNA and oligo array printing and scanning services.  In addition, we print mouse BMAP and NIA chips on coated poly-l-lysine slides for $100/chip.

We are located in room #1-246 in Hasselmo Hall building on the East Bank campus.  The facility stocks only Affymetrix Mouse 430 2.0, U133 + 2.0 and test arrays.  All other arrays are available by special order with minimum purchase required (usually 5 arrays).

Download document (in PDF format) referencing the protocols for making the array, preparing the probe, hybridizing the array, and scanning the array.
